Moving

The dorm I'm living in (till today) will close, so we all move into a new one. Packing... unpacking... I don't like moving - too much wasted time!
But sometimes it's great to find things about which I already forgot or which I was already searching for (°_~)
Another bright side: I disposed or gave away all things I didn't use or wear last year.... that reduced my stuff a lot! And I now know how much stuff I really have (LOL... and it's obviously a lot more than the 20kg I once came with to Japan!) ... seems as if I'm going to need a delivery service when I head back home in June...
Anyway, I was very busy last week, so I had to pack last night. But now it's done... yossh (that's the Japanese outcry for "Did it!!!")... and I even managed to get some hours of sleep. All I have to do now is waiting for my boxes to be picked up by the service team my company hired for us.... and then I have to unpack (T-T)

Little update

Been quite busy the last few weeks... but what else is new? Just wanna give you a brief update of what happened in the meanwhile:
  • Got my Congratulations Package and a Christmas card (well, it wasn't really "Christmas", but "Seasons greetings" ;) from Tuck.
  • Am thrilled about all the great people who made it into Tuck in EA-Round... I'm already looking forward to February when the R1 admits show up on the admitted student forum!!!
  • Got an interview invite from Sloan right after New Year (which I spend btw in Nagano).
  • Met one of my future classmates who is currently working in Tokyo too... great guy! It's going to be fun in Hanover!!!
  • Got some trouble because of some stupid daily credit card limits on mine and my mothers* card when I tried to pay the deposit for Tuck, but everyhing went fine in the end.
    * LOL... my mother laughed a lot when I called her and said "Mum, I need your credit card."
  • Got dinged by Stanford (I'm not at all sad... didn't expect it otherwise as I had no interview... ).
  • Had the Sloan interview today (As I'm already the happiest person with an admit from Tuck, I didn't prepare much for the Sloan interview and was surprisingly relaxed. Rod is a nice person and it was a wonderful conversation! It helps a lot to have no pressure at all!

So, now back to work...
